The free WhatsApp Business App is limited to 1 device, manual messaging, and small volumes. The WhatsApp Business API (Cloud API) is designed for scale — it supports bulk messaging to thousands of contacts, automation, chatbots, multi-agent access, and deep integrations. The API requires a BSP (Business Solution Provider) or direct Meta setup, which we handle for you.
As of 2025, Meta charges per template message: Marketing messages ~₹0.50–0.58/message, Utility messages ~₹0.15–0.20/message, Authentication OTPs ~₹0.15/message. Customer-initiated service conversations are free within a 24-hour window. Our setup fee is separate from these Meta charges.
Yes, with caveats. The number must not currently be registered on WhatsApp (personal or Business App). If it is, you'll need to delete the existing account first. We recommend using a fresh business number for the API. We guide you through the entire number registration process.
Basic setup (Starter plan) takes 3–7 business days — Meta's verification and number approval takes the most time. Advanced integrations and chatbot builds (Growth/Business plans) take 2–4 weeks. Enterprise builds are scoped individually.
No — you can send messages without the green tick. The green tick (Official Business Account status) is optional and improves trust, but is not required for API access. We include green tick application assistance in our Business and Enterprise plans.
